What are Accountable Care Organizations? Why do we need them? How do they work? We all know that health care costs continue to rise at a pace much greater than employers, individuals or government can afford. The current system isn’t working, but what can be done about it?
Accountable Care Organizations are a new approach to improving health care quality and value. The objective is to develop an integrated delivery model that not only is more efficient but also focuses on incentives and reimbursements that support the model rather than work against it.
